Unit 339

There was an unexpected issue with the original cottage we reserved and upon check-in we were informed we were moved into a different cottage. We were a little worried since we hadn’t picked this one but I believe we ended up with a better unit after all. It was very cozy and stocked with everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

We have stayed in this unit several times and find it to be very comfortable with all of the amenities you would need. The deck overlooks the Lake but also provides several trees that house a variety of birds that were enjoyable to see and listen to. We liked the position of the deck where you have some privacy. Lovely decor and will visit again.

The unit was very clean and well stocked with towels, paper towels, dishwashing tabs. I stayed 5 nights and was very comfortable. I felt very safe in the location and I could walk every day. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely go back to GTB. A great property.

We loved our time at Green Turtle Bay. It was our second time in unit 339...we love the set up and the location. It’s showing a little age, but still very nice for a weekend retreat.

We came to love 339 from our very first visit 14 years ago and have enjoyed it for several other visits up through 2015. This was our first time back in 8 years having moved much farther away and increasing out travel time from 4 hours to almost 10. So, this was a sweet nostalgic visit back to one of our favorite spots. As always, the place was spot clean with a nicely appointed kitchen. All appliances were in good working order with the exception that the a/c froze up but was quickly repaired with the addition of a little Freon so nice job to management and maintenance for that quick and effective response. Along with a HVAC upgrade, I would recommend to the owners upgrades of both TV’s and mounting them on their respective walls. In the living room, I’d recommend placement of as large a TV as the area above the mantle would accommodate. We are outdoors folks who don’t watch a lot of TV but as a short-term vacation rental property manager myself, I can confirm that such an upgrade will pay for itself quickly and several times over with increased and repeat reservations.
Not sure if we’ll ever make it back so thank you for sharing this little gem with us over the years. Lots of great memories made here. In fact, my anniversary gift to my wife during our stay was a glass container of sand from the Gulf Coast beach where we were married and now make our home and another with dirt from outside our precious cabin 339 memories of which we will always treasure.

We have stayed in several units and tend to keep coming back to Unit 339. Equipped with everything you need and back deck faces the woods with a water view. Very cozy and decorated well. We found it very peaceful and enjoyed listening to the various birds that are migrating this time of the year. We will definitely be coming back to this unit. Management is very friendly and accommodating.

This place and the area are fun and relaxing. The unit where we stayed was clean and the location was good. This was our third year in a row to visit. The Jade Spa provides excellent service. The stores and restaurants in Grand Rivers are very nice. And the Christmas decorating at Patti's 1800s Settlement were simply gorgeous. November was a great time to visit!

What a beautiful place to visit in fall! The lake views with the colorful leaves on the trees. My family vacationed here for fall break. The indoor pool so clean and warm. Love cruising around on the golf cart. The lake is lower during the stay so we were able to walk out . Enjoyed the beach area. The restaurants- what can I say good food, friendly service... it was a great time!

Excellent!!! The place is great. Our cottage was excellent. It had everything you would want. It was very clean. My only comment is that the bed mattress is not comfortable and needs to be replaced. Other than that I give this place a bug thumbs up!!

We had a wonderful time. The condo was relaxing, and had every amenity we could need. Everyone we encountered at the resort was friendly and helpful. We dined at the Thirsty Turtle and the food was delicious! Our server was so friendly. We also rented a pontoon. Tyler was so helpful. We had a great day out on the water. We will definitely be back! Make sure to go to the Buffalo and Elk Prairie.

We've come to Green Turtle Bay with family a number of times and we love it here. We had 18 people this year and we all had our own condos on the same cul-de-sac which was perfect. We found the condo to be perfectly clean Smelled a little musty but we were able to air it out. Decor was adequate but not outstanding but the kitchen was really well stocked which was a surprise to us. So overall no complaints. Had the best weather we've ever had, no humidity at all, perfect. So we'll definitely be back next year!

The staff was so helpful and genuinely happy to see us anytime we needed assistance. The cabins were so nice and very clean. They went able and beyond! The rental pontoons are a must! The nicest on the lakes.

It was an absolutely perfect stay. We stayed the weekend for my best friends wedding and it couldn’t have been any better! We had a small issue with our air and they had some one over within minutes to fix it. The house was great and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at GTB as usual. We've visitied several times in the past at different times of the year. It's always so peaceful and the scenery is gorgeous. We've stayed in various condo's in the 300 section and so far none have disappointed. The property was clean, well maintained and stocked with the necessities. I would definitly recommend this unit. We dined at the Thirsty Turtle. No complaints! The general store is great. Well stocked for anything you may need or a great place to shop for clothes and souviners. I look forward to my next stay! Unit 339 is a lovely, clean condo with beautiful views. We had a great weekend away. In the midst of the pandemic it is challenging to find somewhere to go that is safe. We were able to bring in food, drinks and not worry about being around other people. We also did several take-out meals at the yummy restaurants in town. My only complaint is that the bed wasn't very comfortable on the left side.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this unit and at Grand Rivers. We thought the condo was well designed, decorated, furnished and comfortable. It had probably the most complete kitchen items and supplies than we had ever before. We would recommend that instruction be left with both TV's as we had to get instructions from the office for the LR TV and they didn't work for the TV in the bedroom. Great place to stay.

We LOVED this condo. It was clean, decorated nicely, and the owners had everything you would need in a "home away from home". The pantry and kitchen items were very well stocked. The only suggestion I have: add a couple of pillows for guests and also, this may have been an oversight, but there was only a top sheet for the pull-out, there was no fitted sheet. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and I look forward to future stays.

Nice condo.
I would suggest blinds over both side windows on main entry door , for privacy. Nothing like someone peeping in , while knocking. It happened to us.
I would also put main tv over fireplace, so everyone in living room, can easily view.
Other than these 2 minor details, condo was clean and ready for us.

Did several online searches entitled "Best Kentucky Romantic vacations." Green Turtle Bay was always on the list. We loved the resort and location. We always enjoy being by a large body of water, be it lake or sea. Our only complaint is that our cottage overlooking the bay view of the bay was blocked by too many trees. Everything else was PERFECT! We will be back. Bill and Kat

Green Turtle Bay is our go to Getaway. We have had eight wonderful weekends there and planning our ninth in October. Each condo that we have stayed in has been excellent, and the staff can't be more congenial and helpful. We have had three couples stay there and told us it was great. This is why we call this our "Home Away From Home".

Really enjoyed our stay. Condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Staff responded to any requests promptly. We dined at the Yacht Club on site, which was very nice, and had massages at the Jade and Earth Spa as well. A very relaxing trip!

WHEN WE OPENED THE DOOR IT WAS MORE THAN WE WAS VERY CLEAN, ALSO VERY ROOMY AND WE FELT LIKE IT WAS HOME AWAY FROM HOME. IT WAS VERY WELL STOCKED FOR ALL OF OUR NEEDS. THE ONLY THING WAS HARD FOR US MAKING THE STEPS. WE WISHED IT WAS A SOLID WALKWAY.

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a long quiet weekend. This is the perfect spot. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are spotless, the cottage we stayed in was clean and very cozy. We loved that it had all the amenities of home including a washer and dryer. Love that they offer a shuttle service and enjoyed the live band at the Thirsty Turtle Tavern. There isn't much to do there so plan on relaxing or taking/renting a boat. We will definitely go back, it was exactly the weekend we needed and we felt the prices were very fair.

We rented a one bedroom unit #339. It was immaculate when we arrived and well equipped. To make it perfect, it would have been on the water, but we knew when we rented it that it was not. If you peeked between the tree leaves, you could catch a glimpse of the water. My family has been coming to Green Turtle Bay for about 5 years, and we love it. It's beautiful and clean, and the shops and amenities are great. We loved the new Thirsty Turtle which had just opened the week before. Good for the whole family; they even have outdoor games set up for the young kids. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple of days because my brother's boat broke the day we got there! The rental boats are very clean, and there are a variety of types to choose from. We had perfect weather the whole time we were there which really added to our wonderful time. We'll be back next year!
