Family vacation 2026
We do an annual vacation with family at Lake Barkley Lodge, but due to it being closed this year we had to look elsewhere. GTB was a great fit for all our families to fit in two houses that were next to each other. The only thing I would say is the front door and a bedroom door to outside had gaps that let bugs in.

Great Time
Had a wonderful time getting together with my kids and significant others for a long weekend at Green Turtle Bay.

The Condo was clean, well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies and we enjoyed our time.

We especially liked that each bedroom had their own private bathroom so each couple had privacy.

Would recommend GTB to friends and will return.

Family vacation with a proposal!!
Our family discusses where to go on vacation and GTB for the win every year! The amenities and staff are great(Kennedee at the marina is awesome) We rent a tritoon while we are here and enjoy hours on the lake. This year our daughter got engaged while on Kentucky Lake!(Maybe a future GTB wedding?)
Unit 501 is perfect for our family of 10 and pets. A great time every year!

Great place!
This condo was great for our extended family trip! Plenty of space for eight people. The condo was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. We loved the screened in porch! The location was quiet and peaceful, but I'm glad we had a golf cart to get around the resort. Staff was helpful when we had any questions. Our particular condo didn't have much of a lake view because of the trees, which was a bit disappointing. But we've already booked a similar condo a few houses down for next summer!

Thirteenth year at the resort
Elements of the family in central Illinois and northern Alabama have met up at Green Turtle Bay resort for 13 years now. It's the perfect location and obviously we have always been well treated by the resort. Between Grand River, Paducah, and the National Park there are always plenty of activities to entertain and explore.

Beautiful get away

Fun Weekend
We stayed here for our annual Siblings Weekend and had a very good time. The unit was spacious and clean. The deck on the back was comfortable with a good view and we spent a lot of our time visiting from there. The facilities at Green Turtle Bay Marina were just what we were looking for.

Our annual March getaway
This was our 11th year meeting at Green Turtle Bay resort. It is conveniently located about half way between central Illinois and Northern Alabama where two groups of our extended family reside. That alone was sufficient for our first visit, but what keeps us returning is the excelent accomodations along with a host of activities in the immediate area. It also doesn't hurt that they offer a fantastic three for two deal in the off season.

Our tenth year at Green Turtle Bay
Ten years now that members of our extended family from Alabama and Illinois meet for a spring get together at GTB. Great condo with all the neccessary ammenities to spend a long weekend overlooking Lake Barkley. Only downside this year was the limits on external activities due to the Covid situation, but the resort staff were still very professional and efficient in looking after our needs.

LOVED OUR STAY
We had 4 couples there for Valentine's Day. We grilled, played games & enjoyed the fire place. All the windows gave access to beautiful view of Cumberland River & Barkley Dam. The next morning we had 10 deer outside our bedroom window. We can't wait to do this again in the summer!

Nice, relaxing stay
Very nice condo. Great for my family of 7. Very clean. Only complaint would be about the bed in the master bedroom on the first floor is very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise a great place to stay at GTB!

Spring Break at GTB
This was our tenth stay at GTB
We have family in central Illinois and northern Alabama and the resort is just about half way between us. Always have a great time, resort is very accomodating and there is lots to do in the area.

Great place
My family all met for my husband’s surprise birthday get together. The condo was perfect with plenty of room for our family. The view was awesome and the indoor pool at the resort was great for a January visit. I would definitely recommend this place.

Awesome Family Reunion at Green Turtle Bay!
Our family of about 50 spent the entire weekend at Green Turtle Bay Resort celebrating our family reunion. We had an awesome time. The staff and amenities at Green Turtle Bay resort were AWESOME! They made our event one to remember! All of the staff at the resort made sure that our family had everything we needed to have a great time.They were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to visiting again!

Father's Day Weekend
This condo was fabulous. The best one that we have ever rented at Green Turtle Bay. It was at the end of the condos which made it very private. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved it!!!

Great time with family !
The condo was great. Clean, well furnished, and enough bathrooms for everyone. The screen on both back porch doors needs to be fixed but otherwise it was in great shape. We will be going back!!
