I booked this condo for my birthday so I could have my parents, siblings, niece and nephews come join in on the fun. This condo was absolutely amazing with 4 bedrooms with private bathroom for each, fold out Murphy beds in living room with a half bath for these guests too. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, watching the sunrise with the deer on the screened in porch, grilled out on the back deck and enjoyed the large table and breakfast bar in the kitchen. This condo was absolutely perfect for our family get together and we are already planning a return trip for my birthday next year. Condo was very clean, updated and offered everything we needed.

Our unit was a wonderful place for our family reunion along with some of us in a nearby unit. We enjoyed the party boat, despite the rain and made good use of the outdoor shelter at the Tiki Turtle.

We’ve stayed in this particular unit several times and it fits our family well with two Murphy beds three king beds a full bed and a twin bed and 4 1/2 bass. There are no steps in the front door. Which is also important for our family The owners keep it updated and the housekeeping staff keeps it clean. The only suggestions that we would have are twofold number one the cushions on the screen porch need to be replaced with something that’s a little more substantial and number two there was an open sewer running behind the property the smell would prevent you from spending much time on the porch I don’t know if it needs more dirt on top or more gravel or more some thing but there’s a problem in a three day weekend when you see and smell waste water flowing down the hill from the outside of this property. It should be an easy fix but it hasn’t been fixed and we’ve seen this before at this particular property

We had an amazing time at GTB for a long girls weekend. 504 was clean, well maintained, spacious and just beautiful. We had zero complaints. The check in/check out process was easy and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend GTB to anyone wanting a lake get away. I have stayed in multiple condos on the property and this one was by far my favorite.

We were very lucky to get booked in 504-On the Rocks unit. The unit backed up to the Lake Barkley side and we were able to see boats and barges going in and out of the dam. The house was perfect size for 6 adults and 3 kids 10 and under. We rented a pontoon boat 2 different days and used the pools the other days. Went to a water park and adventure park all within a 10 mile radius. Loved Patti's Settlement and all the little shops around it. The house was very clean and well stocked. Resort employees were always very accommodating and friendly. We will be back.

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children stayed in On the Rocks Unit 504 again over the 2022 Memorial Day Weekend. In fact we like it so much we have it reserved for the 2023 Memorial and Labor Days holiday weekends which will be our 4/5 stays. Fits our family perfectly. The owners try to invest in some updates each year from newly painted bathroom cabinets with new hardware to a new AC unit (which I am sure wasn't optional)to new front entrance wooden shutters. Great color coordination.

Update/improvement suggestions from us would be replace the kitchen table ceiling light. Trendy but emits no light with 3 small bulbs. Also, bathroom cabinets need to be raised to counter height. Difficult as folks get older to bend over that low. Same for toilets. One of the porch screen door's top screen is unattached needs replacing. Finally, wasn't a functional problem but the some of the kitchen tiles move when stepped on.

Everything was perfect from the time we got there until it was time to leave. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Had a fun night of Bingo at the Thirsty Turtle along with great food.

What a wonderful time we had New Years weekend at GTB. What a beautiful area and wonderful accommodations.
Rented 4 bedroom very beautifully decorated very clean and well stocked.
Will definitely rent again and come back to the area.

We were visiting family in the area and this unit was perfect for us. It was very clean and tidy with plenty of room for everyone and it was beautifully decorated. Having 3 king beds and a bathroom in each room was why we picked this unit. It was peak season for the fall leaves and we enjoyed the golden sunrise across the water from our rooms every morning. The weather was chilly and damp, but some chose to walk down to the the lake edge to see the sunrise and view the dam. We visited family during the day, but in the evenings we could enjoy the town's Christmas Festival of Lights in a walk thru Patti's Settlement and enjoy one of the shows at the Badgett Theater. We hope to reserve the same unit same time next year.

We had a few problems, reported them when we checked out. Management had contacted us within 5 hours of our checkout. We are very satisfied with the way management responded . We are planning to stay again next year.

Beautifully decorated condo with all the comforts of home. The property has all the amenities so you never have to leave the area.... Dockers, Thirsty Turtle , pools, beach, & marina. Loved the complimentary golf cart transportation. Green Turtle is a hidden jewel.

Absolutely charming condo! Decorated with soothing colors that made you feel comfortable and relaxed! We did have an issue with the hickory nuts falling on the deck and waking us up! Not sure how long this season lasts but it was annoying.

Our family has stayed in 3-4 GTB condo rentals during the Memorial and Labor Day holiday weekends for the past several years. We rent our pontoon boats from there as well ie we are fans of GTB especially their staff and service.

With regard to Unit 504-On the Rocks I offer the following: It was far and away the best decorated, most updated and functional condo we have stayed in at GTB. We especially liked not having stairs as you enter the condo as well as the 3 king beds plus the queen and twin beds in the 4th bedroom plus extra beds in the family room. The screen porch was smaller than we were accustom to when comparing it to Unit 510 but still very functional with a TV on the porch. Countertops were all updated along with updated furniture in a very KY lake theme blue. Air conditioning worked well on both levels. There were a couple of signs that said On the Rocks EST 2021 so it either has new owners or re-branded.

On the constructive side master bedroom ceiling fan would not change the fan speed (wasn't the battery). And on a couple of occasions there was a noticeable sewer oder when we were on the screen porch. Since there was visible constant drainage I would assume it was a tank or leach line issue but think these units are on the city of Grand Rivers sewer system. Also the unit was basically clean but there were places like base boards which hadn't been cleaned in a while.

All of that said we liked the unit so well overall we switched our 2022 Memorial Day rental from another unit to On the Rocks! So highly recommend.

We were happy with the cottage and the overall experience.
The A/C struggled to keep cool. During the day, temps outside reached the upper 80's...the downstairs temp could not get below 77 and the nighttime temp downstairs could not get below 75.
Upstairs temps were much easier to control and comfort levels were reached as indicated on the thermostat.
Overall...everything else was very satisfactory.

We had a fantastic stay in unit 504 for fall break with our family. It was a great time to go as it was not crowded in the resort and on the lake. The weather was excellent which was a bonus.
Unit 504 was perfect and we would definitely stay at Green Turtle Bay in Unit 504 again.
The property was as described and more. : )

We were not familiar with Green Turtle Bay. However the website described it perfectly. We were pleased with the layout and comfort of our condo. All of our children, their spouses or significant others, and grandchildren gathered for two day of rest and relaxation and we weren’t disappointed. We plan to be back!

Absolutely lovely home and view! Clean and comfortable! Screens and deck cushions could have been cleaned (but it is spring and the pollen is thick so this may not be a year round problem). I would add some type of storage pantry in the kitchen area. Bread and other pantry staples had to remain on the counters or in totes. This would not prevent me from staying again as we had SO MUCH FUN!

My family and I were extremely excited and happy to spend the weekend together. They were all very pleased that I had secured our stay at Green Turtle Bay and had chosen unit 504. We had no idea that this bit of heaven was so close to us. One of our sons, who is stationed in Louisiana drove here for the LBL Run said that it was well worth the eight hour drive.
Family and Serenity go hand in hand, and this is what we experienced here! The Condo was beautifully decorated, spacious and fully equiequipped, except for a hand mixer but one call to the office and within 15 minutes a brand new one was brought to us! The Staff was extremely friendly, respectful and "all" went "Overboard" �� to make our stay an exceptional experience! If ever the owner thinks about replacing the blinds, a more welcoming choice would be mini blinds or verticals so one can control the level of light during the day instead of the full and blinding sun that somewhat took away from that cozy feeling. Loved, simply loved our stay! We will most definitely come back! We found a new love and respect for "all" the Turtle decorations...�� Thank You.

Great fun and accommodations. Had a wonderful time with large family gathering. Loved pontoon rental. Condo/4 bedroom was entirely equipped with everything we needed and spacious enough for 8 adults and 5 children. Loved golf cart rides spotting numerous deer as they bedded down at dusk as well as the evening sunsets. Overall a big thumbs up for the resort experience!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was lovely and everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. There was a very small issue no cable for our entire stay that was never fixed so we left a day early.
